My mantra for this year is to “go beyond,” which for me means patience, perseverance and action.
2015 feels like it has a higher vibration than years past – great opportunities and rewards are awaiting us. We deserve it! I also sense an urgency to take action, leave behind what could hold us back and take the necessary steps to move forward. We want to shake off the old debris and emerge fresh and updated, ready to go. “Action” to me means making effective changes in areas of stagnation. If we can become aware of what is not working in our lives, we are able to plan how to make changes and (most importantly) set our plans in motion. In other words, we must tend to that which no longer serves us and let it go. Let’s say what needs to be said, do what needs to be done, and begin sharpening our proverbial tools to move forward and be ready for success.
This past year, many people have told me that they felt stuck, blocked or trapped in worldly matters such as work, money, and creativity despite working hard on their inner and outer progress. I too have felt like some of my efforts to move forward have been stifled. Kate’s Magik is looking for a new home, since the building we rent is up for sale, yet after almost 4 months of searching for the right location, we still have not found a place. With life’s constant changes, we continuously have to adapt and keep shifting gears, which can make progress difficult, create frustration, and bring forth fear of failure. While the path forward may seem daunting at times, having an attitude of patience and perseverance is the key to overcoming challenges and achieving our goals.
Good things take time and it is essential that we trust our hearts and intuition when making choices. If something does not resonate with the heart chord, it is not right, even if time is running out or people are telling you otherwise. We cannot control what the future has in store for us, but I do firmly believe the universe is on our side and wants to do right by us. Our part is to trust the path and maintain faith, patience and perseverance. Let’s make room for the new and continue to visualize our wishes and search for answers. We can ask for help and advice, knock on doors, say our prayers and do our rituals, but we don’t have the power to manifest destiny on our clock – blessings come in their own time. Meanwhile, aside from taking action, let’s care for our wellbeing, make sure we get the necessary rest, eat well, monitor our thought patterns and tend to our surroundings and those in need of our love.
“In the end we are always rewarded for our good will, our patience, fair-mindedness, and gentleness with what is strange.”
-Friedrich Nietzsche
It's on it's way...
