When confronted with the everyday challenges of fast-paced contemporary living, we easily forget to ask ourselves what we need to overcome difficulties and be successful in our daily lives. Harnessing the power of our minds and setting our intentions each day gives us an  opportunity to break out of autopilot and greet each day with meaning and purpose. 

 An intention  is essentially a goal, aim, target, plan or purpose for something specific. To live with intention or to create intentions for your life is to believe that those specific intentions will eventually come to fruition. Intention and manifestation generally walk hand in hand. When you set intentions for this or that, manifesting is how you make it happen. The intention is the seed that will then grow and flower into your desired manifestation! Setting your intentions each day is a practice that helps us remain anchored in the present and live each day with mindfulness. 

 You can absolutely set intentions every single day, multiple times a day, but you might also set intentions on special occasions like a Full Moon, holiday or at the beginning of a project or personal journey. The most important part of setting your intention is becoming very clear about what it is that you want. Here is an example of an intention, made even better with focus and clarity.

You could write your intention on a piece of paper or in a journal, say it out loud or quietly to yourself, or create a ritual holding your intention with your highest energy possible. This is an opportunity for you to get creative with how you would like to send your intentions out into the Universe. 

 The integral practice of intention-setting is more than just saying you desire this or that. It comes with the understanding that you believe your intentions will come to be but that you also understand that no matter what happens, it is all for the Highest Good of all involved. Many people forget or ignore that sometimes, letting go of your intention or letting go of a specific outcome is also crucial. It may sound confusing, but the idea is that you trust in the bigger plan and believe that perhaps something more significant or necessary for your karmic development is coming your way.

You may also pour out a small amount of oil to your palms, rub your hands together and inhale deeply while visualizing your goals.

Sometimes after a difficult event we close off our hearts, which can trap negative emotions. The essential oil of Rose carries a divine feminine energy and helps open the heart to release these feelings and soothe turbulent emotion. Long before we are ready to LET GO we need to HEAL OUR HEART. 

Intention Ritual: Take a moment to be quiet. Become present and begin to identify what areas of your life are affected by sorrow. Hold the bottle of Healing of The Heart in your hand. Breathe. Then apply a small amount on your heart. Inhale. Breathe. Visualize healing energies being activated. Feel soothing vibrations charging through your whole being. Here you may also call upon a higher power to support you - you may evoke the Divine Mother, Christ consciousness, your guides, angles and helpers. Deeply inhale the oil from your palms and visualize and reaffirm your intention. Say your prayers, ask for clear guidance, support, a sign or an omen. During times of sadness I carry this highly therapeutic anointing oil with me in my bag and apply it generously and frequently with clear intention. I tend to apply it on my heart and neck and on my palms for inhalation.

Letting Go Anointing Oil - Phase 2 

Once ample time has been spent on healing, we may finally be ready to begin the process of letting go. This is undoubtedly one of the most powerful and effective blends I have created. As with Healing of the Heart, precious Bulgarian Rose Otto is the driving force of Letting Go Anointing Oil. However, this time, Cedarwoodprovides the vehicle for painful emotion to move out of the heart. Use this magical blend to let go of pain, shame, guilt, anger and blame. Letting Go assists in freeing us from that which no longer serves us, removes unwanted obstacles from our path and creates space for love and positive emotions. 

Intention Ritual: Take a moment to be quiet. Become present and begin to identify what emotions you are wanting to let go of. Hold the bottle of Letting Go in your hand. Breathe. In circular motion apply a generous amount on your heart and chest. Inhale. Breathe. Visualize healing energies being activated. Feel soothing vibrations charging through your whole being. Here you may also call upon a higher power to support you - you may evoke the Divine Mother, Christ consciousness, your guides, angles and helpers. Deeply inhale the oil from your palms and visualize and reaffirm your intention. Say your prayers, ask for clear guidance, support, a sign or an omen. Please Note: This is a very powerful blend which can evoke lots of emotion. It is therefore best used in a safe place, in time of solitude, before meditation or during a designated process of healing. This blend is effective while journaling, before sleep, or during moon rituals. Unlike most other Anointing Oils, I do not recommend this blend be carried around and applied frequently.

Isis and Rebirth Anointing Oil - Phase 3 

You have spent time healing and then worked on letting go and now you are ready for rebirth! This blend evokes the ancient, the mysterious and the otherworldly. It is one of my very favorite creations and connected to one of my greatest teachers. Isis and Rebirth Anointing Oil features Moroccan Rose Absolute and organic Madagascan Vanilla Co2 and is dedicated to the Egyptian goddess of rebirth and creation, Isis. Like a Phoenix rising from the ashes, she helps you let go and destroy the old in order to embrace transformation into your next phase. Embrace living life in the present moment! 

Intention Ritual: Take a moment to be quiet. Become present and conjure what emotions or attachments you are now fully ready to detach from. Hold the bottle of Isis and Rebirth in your hand. Breathe. Anoint your brow, your throat and above your heart. You may even anoint the top or bottom of your feet. Inhale. Breathe. Visualize transformational energies being activated. Feel powerful and courageous vibrations charging through your whole being. Here you may also call upon a higher power to support you - you may ask for the blessing of Isis. Deeply inhale the oil from your palms and visualize and reaffirm your intention. Say your prayers, ask for clear guidance, support, a sign or an omen. Please Note: Apply this oil during your time of transformation until the bottle is empty. Use it a few times a day to affirm your intentions around transformation, for empowerment and to call upon the Goddess Isis for her blessings.

 When I anoint myself with Woman See Bright Anointing Oil I feel the wisdom of my ancestors and guides flowing through me. It arouses in me a power and understanding that often lies dormant in us until it is awakened. This incredible blend of Clary Sage and Jasmine essential oils in Woman See Bright is the ultimate blend for women. It was created to evoke Divine Feminine wisdom and brings clarity and inspiration to whatever situation you find yourself in. It also benefits a healthy hormonal balance as well as supports women during PMS, childbirth and menopause. I anoint my Third Eye with Woman See Bright Anointing Oil before I give a tarot reading, before heading into meetings and even before I start a creative project. It helps me connect with the Divine Feminine as well as the goddess within. I will also apply Woman See Bright directly on my sacral chakra for support during my monthly cycle. 

 I’ll take a moment to ground myself and then I will pour the oil into my hands and take many deep breaths, inhaling the scent, visualizing the plant medicine of Clary Sage and Jasmine flowing through my body as I focus on the intention of harnessing wisdom, intuition and magic. At this point I will also call upon the support of my guides, ancestors and any deities that I may currently be working with.

Uncrossing Anointing Oil

Uncrossing Anointing Oil is a blend of Citrus and Rosemary that was created to remove negativity and send away bad vibes. The idea of an Uncrossing Oil is legendary and is found within many cultures and traditions from around the world. I have used the incredible Kate’s Magik Uncrossing Anointing Oil in many ways. I will Anoint myself when I feel that I need clear negativity and expel unpleasant energy from my body or energetic field. I have also anointed my office, candles, house, space and even the doors at Kate’s Magik with Uncrossing! It’s a powerful blend that supports your intention of protection and driving out negativity. 

 I will pour Uncrossing Anointing Oil into my hands and visualize my guides standing beside me and behind me supporting me with their immense power and strength. I will say a prayer of protection and apply Uncrossing Anointing Oil to myself or another object, all the while envisioning an aura of protection enveloping me and pushing the negativity away from me.
