The Sacred Waters -  Sacral Chakra

Located in the lower abdomen and ruled by Water, the Sacral Chakra is your center of sensation, emotion, creativity, and relational flow, the living tide that moves life through you. When balanced, there is ease in the body, emotional intelligence, healthy boundaries, and a felt permission to enjoy. When stagnant, rigidity or numbness replaces flow; desire dims and connection feels far away. When excessive, overindulgence, clinging, or chasing highs without true nourishment can manifest.

This ritual invites you to restore rhythm, to dissolve stiffness, rekindle desire, and let feeling move without overwhelm. Through breath, visualization, gentle movement, and scent, you’ll soften the edges and return to a steady, sensual current. Practice at the start of a new cycle or anytime you need to feel again.

Enter with honesty. Leave with softness, sovereignty, and flow: the hallmarks of a balanced Svadhisthana.

You will need:

  • An orange candle (flow, creativity)
  • Ecstasy Divine Scent or another sacred oil for anointing
  • Carnelian or Sunstone
  • Paper & Pen
  • A small bowl or glass of water (a pinch of sea salt optional)

Begin:

Prepare & Posture (wave breathing)

Inhale for 4, feel the lower belly expand; soften the ribs. Exhale for 6, mouth slightly open, let the belly fall and the jaw unclench. Repeat 9 cycles, inviting the nervous system to settle.

Set the Breath

Inhale for 4, exhale for 6 (9 cycles). Let the longer exhale settle the nerves and gather scattered energy.

Anoint the Waters

Apply Ecstasy Divine Scent to the lower belly, wrists, and behind the ears. Inhale slowly. Welcome safety, softness, and sensual aliveness.

Stir the Current

With your hand over the sacral center, draw slow circles. Gently sway hips. Visualize a warm amber-orange light(like a moon in water) glowing in the lower belly. Each inhale brightens it; each exhale lets it ripple through hips and spine, releasing stiffness and guilt.

Sound the Mantra 

Chant VAM (vahm) 9 times, letting the vibration pool in the pelvis. Feel blocks loosen; let emotion move and pass like a wave.

Name Your Desire & Boundary 

On paper, complete:
“I desire to feel…” (name one feeling to welcome).
“I protect this with…” (name one kind, clear boundary).

Read both aloud with your hand on the lower belly.

Seal

Dip two fingers in the water; touch the sacral center and then the heart, linking pleasure with care.

Affirm:

“I deserve pleasure. I absorb wisdom from my feelings. I move with ease and joy.”

Close

Sip a little of the water (or simply thank it). Extinguish the candle with gratitude.
