In this Kate’s Magik Retreat, you will have an opportunity to step out of your everyday life and be led in transformational ceremonies by Kate and her gifted collaborator, certified yoga teacher Summer, in the sacred healing rocks of Sedona. During this potent time of purification and renewal, ushered in by the autumnal season, we will come together as women on this mystical land to raise our vibration, find inner and outer balance, and awaken to our sacred power to meet the seasons ahead with a light heart and clear mind.
For as long as the Divine has taken shape in human form, women have been joining together in sacred ceremony to process and release the blockages we’ve accumulated and make room for new growth. There is no substitute for the catharsis and rejuvenation we can experience during ritualized time of soulful sisterhood.
With Kate you will experience daily intentional aroma journeys, sacred song medicine, Goddess ceremonies and other forms of magical transformation. The luminant Summer will lead us in yoga and pranayama practice and share inspirational teachings for healthy nutrition. Evenings will be spent with our gracious Sedona Sacred Rocks patron, Meaghan, in tepee fire ceremonies and crystal bowl sound healing ceremonies. As a special addition, Kate's Magik's own energy conduit, Mahana, will be offering “Intention-based Ritual and Energy Aromatherapy Treatments”.
We’ve also built in time for rest, relaxation, solitude, exploration, and camaraderie. Our time together will reconnect you with what truly matters in your life, revitalize your system, fill you with energy and inspire you for the seasons ahead. Kate Becker is a therapeutic natural perfumer, a mystic teacher, a professional singer-songwriter and the owner/founder of Kate’s Magik ( est.2002 ) -- a holistic aromatherapy company that creates 100% pure Reiki-charged essential oil blends and natural perfumes. Her oils unite the power of intention and ritual with the beautiful aromas of the earth’s healing plants.
Kate is a Reiki master with over 20 years of experience working as a metaphysical life coach, studying, applying and professionally teaching various methods of spiritual transformation. Her expertise is in intention-based modalities such as scent therapy, the power of ritual and ceremony, shadow work, inner-child work and meditation.
Musically, Kate's roots are in jazz, which she studied in New York City for seven years in the 90s and continues to sing and perform. She has 3 studio albums under her belt and a dynamic band with which she performs regularly (view her musical website to find out more!). Her most recent studies combine her love for music with her deep spiritual commitment, focusing on the ancient healing art of song medicine by using the voice to bring liberation, expel suffering, evoke deities and connect with the divine.
Summer Rathswohl is a yoga instructor and business owner focusing on holistic health in Southern California. She has worked with high-end yoga studios, exclusive spas, wellness centers, corporate accounts and has instructed at retreats nationally and internationally.
Raised in San Diego, California, Summer began meditating at the young age of 4. Growing up with parents who meditated, Summer was a willing participant to begin a life-long study through the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda.
Certified in yoga and nutrition, she applied her knowledge as a yoga instructor at the world renowned Golden Door Spa, Chopra Center for Well-Being, local yoga studios, corporate businesses, and Spirit Tours wellness retreats.
Living in Los Angeles since 2012, Summer continues her studies and teaching. She also owns and operates a natural products brokerage called Summer’s Specialties based in Southern California. Her love for natural products, nutrition and the practice of yoga, all contribute to her helping others discover their true potential.
