I have been using Banditos for over five years and will absolutely state that this magical oil is the very best for clearing one’s sinuses from pollutants, pollen and it does allow your body to relax from all the stressors that attack you when you supplement it as a massaging oil, I also find that knats and mosquitos stay away so I always use it when I am outdoors and especially on hikes. I have had very bad reactions from many mosquitos repellents that gave me severe itching and broke me out with small blisters. This Banditos is all natural and so much safer and healthier for one’s skin. I use it on my hair too and it does make it shiny and keeps bugs from flying around your ears, nose or eyelashes, especially during the monsoon season. The kit with everything is a great value and I’m so happy to buy it again. I love the scent and truly appreciate the quality and essence of this fantastic oil. I'm not looking forward to cold and flu season (because I'm not a masochist), but I AM looking forward to using this amazing kit regularly during the colder months. I love that this comes with massage oil, a bottle of protective mist, a roll-on, and a small bottle of the blend, as you can layer the different products and carry the more portable ones with you.
The scent is warm and comforting, like sitting next to a fire with a cup of tea on a cold day, maybe the first day you get to wear your favorite sweater. Of course there's a cat on your lap, and a book you can't put down. It's close to the winter holidays, but not close enough that you feel stressed. There's just a sweet anticipation in the air, and maybe the smell of snow.
For me, the primary scent of the blend is clove, with some citrus and cinnamon following after. There's a ghost of something minty as well, which I'm thinking is the rosemary and maybe the white sage. It's a beautiful scent, and a familiar one. It fades fairly quickly and leaves just a hint of spice on the skin.
This is gorgeous stuff. I've always loved Four Thieves, but I love Banditos even more.
