December’s Osiris Bastet Perfume is one of the most sacred, evocative and otherworldly creations that has come through me. The Holy arboreal essential oils that constitute Osiris have been used since ancient times for anointing rituals, protection, embalming and prayer. Because of this perfume's transformative quality, it has changed names over the years. From Bhakti to Dionysus, and ultimately Osiris. This Egyptian God seems most fitting for such a magical, regenerative blend.
Osiris is the enlightened ruler of the hidden world and consort to Isis. He was slain by his brother Set and revived by the love and magic of Isis with the help of Nephthys and Anubis. Osiris represents one’s becoming and awakening after death. His message is a promise of hope and renewal after or during the darkest hours. A perfect Solstice Perfume.
Scent Profile: This deeply warming holy oil is crafted around the rare and precious Agarwood - cradled in Indian Sandalwood, balsamy Cedarwood and other sacred tree essences.
