Sales Manager and Brand Ambassador
This multifaceted position will work closely with the owner to oversee national and international sales operations to usher a renown Essential Oil brand into its next era of growth. This position will serve and expand our current wholesale accounts in existing market segments as well and use their creativity to grow sales in new and innovative ways.
This position is for someone who is a seasoned sales person who knows how to prioritize their time to focus, find significant clients, and close deals. They should be excited to travel, make new connections, grow existing relationships, and be an incredible brand ambassador.
The Sales Manager works closely with the owner and national sales staff to devise and implement strategies to meet and exceed goals by mapping new experience models, potential customers, and sales channels.

Software Knowledge Necessary:
Excel (Intermediate to advanced)
Manage and communicate with national sales reps
Oversee key accounts in the health food industry
Travel locally as well as nationally to promote the brand and provide education to current accounts as well as procure new accounts
Organize and facilitate Trade Shows working the booth and tending to potential customers
Set, maintain and exceed sales goals.
Analyze sales numbers and identify areas of opportunity based on sales reports
Assign tasks to office assistant and monitor work and progress
Monthly or quarterly contact with key customers. Maintain a strong relationship with existing customers.
Expand business opportunities within company's existing accounts (line extensions)
Gauging interest from existing customers regarding new lines
Target new key accounts
Develop new business by soliciting potential prospects consistently - cold calls, evaluate old leads, save lost sales
Work with representatives to target new business and create goals for new accounts
Track sales leads in lead system (QB or Insightlyor Pipeline)
Follow up with prospects and customers by phone and email to build sales and strengthen relationships
Sales Rep Oversight
Have a tight relationship with regional sales reps. Working with them as a team on a daily basis
Evaluate opportunities for sales rep opportunities
Set expectations, goals and incentives
Help them seal deals as well as troubleshoot challenging accounts
Maintain knowledge of promotion deadlines and submission requirements
Create spreadsheet with applicable deadlines
Work with management on promotional strategy and decide promos
Work with owner to plan demo strategy, budget, and scheduling
Work with reps and office assistant to submit demo requests to demo specialist and confirm scheduling
WFM DOT system
Corporate Accounts, Ordering Systems, & Promotions
Maintain cost systems and promotions
Work with other retail partners to implement product sales/promotions via account specific submission requirements and deadlines
Oversee administration of product catalogs within third-party ordering systems such as OrderDog and ScanGenius
E-Commerce Website & Direct to Consumer Sales
Maintain website and update monthly with sales, new products, etc
Add content and optimize for SEO
Set up shipping rates and sales tax
Maintain brick and mortar website
Administer other online retail sales channels such as Amazon, Ebay etc.
