Kate chooses the active ingredients (Essential Oils) by quality, scent and vibration. We do not shy away from exotic and precious ingredients (e.g. Jasmine, Neroli, Rose Otto, Sandalwood etc.). Even though their availability is an invaluable luxury, they posses powerful therapeutic qualities and add important scents to the palette. We choose sustainably harvested Essential Oils over other alternatives (e.g.: we select Sandalwood from the well managed plantations of New Caledonia rather than the endangered Indian Sandalwood.)
Most of our Essential Oils are wild crafted, some are organic – all are pure and natural!
All Natural Carrier Oils
Our carrier oils are selected to combine with the essential oils. They carry the essential oil onto the skin. These luxurious oils have been selected especially for our blends.
Sweet Almond Oil – has rich, skin-nourishing and excellent penetrating properties and we choose the finest available quality. Naturally soothing and wonderfully smooth, Sweet Almond Oil helps restructure and soften the skin. Our Sweet Almond oil is sourced from a reputable, local company.
Wheat Germ Oil and Mixed Tocopherols (a natural extract from Vitamin E) add powerful anti-oxidant and regenerative qualities. They serve as natural stabilizers and add further healing and skin-conditioning benefits.
Avocado Oil - an ingredient in our Body and Massage Oils, affords a luxurious silkiness and is wonderfully absorbed by your skin. It also has strong regenerative and anti-wrinkle properties.
Distilled, Purified Water is the only ingredient (besides the Essential Oils) in our Aura Mists. Our distilled water comes from at a small, natural grocery, Aqua Vita, where it is carbon filtered, UV treated and magnetically enhanced. We do not use alcohol or emulsifiers in our Aura Mists, we simply trust you to shake your bottle well before use – a small price for the ability to experience an alcohol-free, all-natural product.
All our blending personnel are Reiki certified. The actual blending area is treated as a sacred space where the blender can clear his/her energy and focus on creating powerful healing tools. With the mind set on the purpose of the product, the individual blender follows elaborate recipes and procedures. Once all the essential Oils are married (=mixed) the blender infuses the synergy with Reiki energy according to the purpose of the product.
We continue to hand-blend small batches to insure freshness and quality for our customers.
