History/Lore:

Ylang-ylang is often referred to as "poor man's jasmine". In Indonesia it is costum to strew Ylang-ylang flower petals on the bed of newlywed couples.  In the Philippines, the Ylang Ylang flowers are strung together with the flowers of the sampaguita,to create necklaces (lei) which are worn by women and are used to adorn religious images.

Cautions:

Ylang-Ylang Extra Essential Oil can cause sensitivity on some people and excessive use of it may lead to headaches and nausea.
